Happy New Year!

Maddox and I went to Ashley and J.J.'s for dinner and little early New Year's celebration. We had a good time and Maddox was a very good boy, even though he was up way past his bedtime!!

Snow

Maddox got all new snow attire from Grandma and PaPa for Christmas and today was the perfect day to try it out. He has never actually played in the snow before. He seemed to like it, the only problem was the gloves. He wouldn't let me put them 0n him (not an easy task even if he was cooperating) but then his hands got so cold and he got upset. All in all I think he had a good time though.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a great Christmas with friends and family. We had a wonderful Christmas:) Maddox loves all of the things he got, it is so cute.

His very favorite gift. He got this guitar from Abigail on Christmas Eve and he pretty much hasn't let go of it since. It is so funny, he plays it and dances around the house to the music.

We went to Mom's today and all the cousins were there. Maddox had so much fun playing with everyone. He was such a good boy. Jim is thinking we need to adopt a couple of older kids to keep him entertained, haha:)

We have had such a good time the past couple days with family and friends, now time for some relaxing for mommy, I'm exhausted!

Heather and I took the kids to The Children's Museum to see Santa. I wasn't quite sure how well it was going to go. He loved watching him come down the chimney but as soon as we stood up to get in line he clung on to me for dear life. Abigail didn't like him either. They both had a death grip on us. We decided not to torture them by making them sit on his lap so we don't have a picture. It was a good time though and we got a couple cute pictures....

... other than Mommy of course:) Maddox loves his Aunt Hee Hee more than anything. He gets soooo excited anytime he sees her and then wants her to hold him the whole time. It is the sweetest thing!

We went to Uncle Rick's yesterday to get some Christmas pics of Maddox taken and get a good one for the Christmas card. As usual it was madness b/c Maddox doesn't like to stand or sit still for more than a second. All in all I think they turned out cute:)

Kangaroo Jac's

Jim and I took Maddox to Kangaroo Jac's this afternoon. It's a big place with tons of inflatables to bounce around in and slide etc. He went one time before and didn't really like it but I thought we would give it another try. He had a really good time today. He played and laughed. Also on the way home he started saying a new word.. "thank you".. it is soo cute! Can't believe he is starting to talk!

Trick or Treating

We went over Aunt Hee Hee's tonight to go trick or treating... the kids had a lot of fun and got some yummy goodies:)

Pumpkin Festival

So next up on our fall fun weekend.. The Gayton Crossing Pumpkin Festival! It's held in the shopping center where I work and always a lot of fun for the kids. So glad the weather was nice this year. Ashley was working so Makayla hung out with us to enjoy the festival too.

Finally some cool weather!! Time to break out the "footie" PJs. Here are a few shots before bedtime tonight. We had a busy day with a festival at daycare this morning and Trick or Treating at Gayton Crossing tonight.. now time to rest up for the rest of the fun this weekend.
