Dinner Time

Over the past few weeks Maddox has been refusing baby food and only wanting regular table food. He does good with some things but won't eat much of a variety right now. When I feed him things from a spoon he always wants to grab it.. so tonight he wasn't eating it off the spoon anyway so I thought.. why not? I'll just let him have the spoon... put some messy pasta on his tray and maybe he will actually eat some of it! He did end up eating some of it. He would eat it off of his fingers and when I would help him get some on his spoon and guide it into his mouth he would eat it. I guess that's a start. Very messy process but it has to start somewhere! He had a ball too so it was pretty funny to watch! I can't believe he is getting so big!

Walking

So Maddox has officially started walking!!! He has been taking a few steps here and there over the past week but this weekend at Ashley's he walked all the way across the floor! We were so excited.. and I was glad to get it on tape!

Little Miss Brooklyn:)

Maddox and I went to visit Ashley and her new baby, Brooklyn, last week. I didn't get any pics of her and Maddox but got this precious pic that I just had to post! She is the cutest little thing ever:)

Weekend Trip

This weekend we decided to take a last minute trip to Maryland. Ashley, Remi, and Hannah were soo nice to let us stay with them:) Hannah is just 2 months older than Maddox and they hadn't seen each other since there were itty bitty babies. They had fun playing together! We kept busy with the aquarium in Baltimore, the inner harbor, and the Washington Zoo!

We weren't allowed to have the stroller in the aquarium so they had these backpack things to carry Maddox in. He got a little heavy after a while but he really liked it!

We had a great weekend and can't wait to do it again. Of course b/c I'm not the picture taker I didn't get any good pics of Maddox and Hannah.. but Ashley did.. which I will have to get from her so I can post them:)

Playground

Now that it's nice out and I have so much time off I figure it's a good time to start trying out the parks. We went for the first time today to Deep Run Park where we are going to have Maddox's bday party. He had a good time and the weather was soooo nice!! I think swinging was his favorite:)

Had to have some juice after all that playing before we headed home:)

Water Table

We got Maddox a pirate ship water table to go on the patio for his birthday. Since it's too big to take to his party I convinced Jim to let us set it up and give it to him early. He loves it! I think it will be so much fun for him when it gets to be summer!

Easter

Maddox's first Easter... the Easter Bunny came and brought some goodies, we went hunting for eggs at Aunt Hee Hee and Uncle Jay's, and dyed easter eggs. We had a great day!

Easter Bunny

We went to see the Easter Bunny at Short Pump last week. Maddox wasn't scared of him at all just having a little bit of a fussy day. It took a little bit but we ended getting a half way smiling picture!
