Beach

We took Maddox to the beach today for the first time ( well last time he was 1 month old so he doesn't remember much:) It was a lot of fun. He definitely loved the water, it was so cold but he just kept wanting to go back in it! I think we will have a great time this summer between the beach, the pool, and water country:)

Oatmeal

Maddox is a big boy now and likes to try and feed himself with his little fork and spoon. He has a come a long way since the last post where he made a huge mess and didn't eat a bite of it. It's still pretty messy but he is getting the hang of it. I was able to get some video this morning of him eating his oatmeal.

Happy 1st Birthday Maddox!!

So today Maddox turns the big 1. I'm the mean Mommy that took him to the doctor on his birthday... good thing is he doesn't know the difference. However, he did know how much he hated the doctor's office!! He cried pretty much the whole time. Poor little thing....

After the doctor we went to Target so he could use his gift card from his birthday and pick out a toy. We finished out the day with a doughnut after dinner.. which he loved!

A few things he is up to these days... He is walking all over now.. even more than crawling. He is eating pretty good for the most part. I gave him whole milk this morning and he loved it so we are done with formula and bottles! Mommy likes this:) He weighs just under 21 lbs and is 29 inches tall. He is going through a very needy, I want my mommy stage but other than that he is such a joy. I love the time we spend together and miss him so much when I'm not with him. He is my little sidekick. I'm so lucky to have such a precious little love:)
