Christmas in New York

We spent Christmas in New York with Jim's family this year. We have never been there for Christmas and thought it would be fun to do while Maddox is still young enough to travel for Christmas. We had a wonderful time. It was great to see everyone and a very relaxing break after all the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the holidays.

Christmas at Memaw and PawPaw's

The week before Christmas we had dinner and got everyone together at Heather's house to celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts since we weren't going to be here for Christmas. The kids had a great time opening presents (although I didn't get any pics of that). Here are some pics from opening presents at Memaw and PawPaw's house.

Maddox is a very lucky boy!! He got lots of trains, a ring toss game, and lots more fun stuff!! We are very lucky to have such a great family =)

Visits with Santa and Brooklyn

Well a few weeks before Christmas we took Maddox to see Santa. I really thought he was going to do better than last year (screaming, crying, with a death grip on me). Well he did do better, but still didn't want to sit on his lap. He stood off to the side while Abigail and Jonathan sat on his lap. Santa did turn around and ask what he wanted and Maddox told him a bulldozer. He then walked past him very carefully and waved goodbye =).

That same day we had Ashley, Andy, and Brooklyn over for dinner and to let the kids exchange gifts.... here is Maddox opening his remote control car =)
