Va. Beach

On Sunday we packed up and went to the beach for the day. Andy, Ashley, Brooklyn and our friend Nicole came along too. It was a perfect day for the beach and Maddox had a blast!! He was soooo good and loved every minute of it!

Mickey Mouse Bike

Jim and I got Maddox a Mickey Mouse tricycle for his birthday... since I will be working tomorrow on his birthday and Jim was home this weekend we decided to give him his presents on Sunday. He loves the bike...and the helmet even more I think.

Ready to go for a ride today... it was sooo nice out today so we were able to take his bike for a spin. Although since he can't really pedal yet the rides have to be short since I have to bend over and push him the whole way! We are working on the pedaling though.. I'm sure he will get in no time.

Maddox's 2nd Birthday Celebration

Maddox will be 2 tomorrow.. and I can't believe it! Well instead of a party this year we decided to get some of his favorite people together and take a day trip to Baltimore to spend " A Day out with Thomas the Train". Me, Jim, Maddox, Heather, Jay, Abigail, Ashley and Brooklyn all went and we had so much fun!!

We had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore.. here is Maddox with his very favorite drink.. chocolate milk.. or chocolate moo moo as he calls it =)

He was so excited about his cupcakes.. talked about them for 2 days leading up to Saturday.

Then the waitress brings an ice cream sundae for the birthday boy... he loved it!!

And they are out!!! None of the kids napped on the way up there so after that long day they were good and ready for a nice long nap on the way home!!

We had so much fun doing this. It was a beautiful day and I'm glad everyone got to join us to celebrate Maddox's birthday =)

We had a good time celebrating Easter with the family. Maddox isn't feeling well so it was a little rough but glad we got to get out and enjoy some of this beautiful day =)

I let Maddox "wash" the dishes the other day while I was cooking breakfast. He had a great time playing in the water.. and possibly got some stuff clean =)

New school =)

Here's Maddox eating lunch at his new school. For those of you that didn't know, he started a new daycare/preschool a couple of weeks ago. He has adjusted great! They are so wonderful there. The principal emailed me today and said "hi mommy, i'm having a good day. see you soon" and attached this picture to it. It's little things like that that mean so much!
