Maddox had his first Christmas program at his school a few weeks ago. For weeks before the day he came home singing all of the songs, doing the hand motions, and looking oh so cute doing so. Needless to say I was so excited when the day came and couldn't wait to see him singing with the other kids and of course get it on video. Well just like everything when it comes to kids... not what I expected at all. He walked in the room where we are all sitting, saw Jim and I, ran straight for us, and wouldn't go back with his class or really sing anything. He was among many other kids doing the same thing.. or worse.. i.e. screaming, crying etc. I still wanted to have something to remember his first ever Christmas so I taped him sitting with Daddy even if he didn't sing much. Oh well there is always next year =)
